With the progressive integration process in Europe and the globalization trends in the world economy, there is an increasingly busy and intensive contact between the inhabitants of countries with different cultural and historical backgrounds, history and present in the European and world economic and social world. Europe as a continent has a multicultural character with a high degree of cultural diversification. This is mainly due to the free movement of people, work mobility, study and educational stays, but also due to illegal mobility. Encountering different cultures, citizens are taught to respect and tolerate each other, exchange visions, experience and mutual enrichment. The above-mentioned aspects are the most important topics of the ERASMUS. It is open to all states of the European Union and their students, teachers and university researchers. The paper analyses the extent to which different states use the programme. ER -
