CY - Bulharsko SN - 9786197408485 KW - Building information modelling KW - Building life cycle KW - Knowledge management KW - Management N2 - We are in the initial phase of the transformation of the whole building industry. Such a transformation can bring about both a change in building insights and a construction process, as well as a different approach for people to the structures in which they live, work and use, for example, to transport. This change, which has already begun and is in some way pushed through the "Building Information Modeling" method, makes it possible to virtually experience and experiment anything that is being prepared for construction through simulations. The BIM simulations will not only serve as a "crawl of the virtual 3D model of a building," but will also include aspects of time throughout the building's life cycle, i.e. its use until its possible demolition. Even during construction, Building Information Modeling can help optimize the use of materials and energy during construction and minimize negative environmental impacts. The building will be much more in harmony with its interior space and the premises outside the building. At present, a slowly growing number of building professionals, users and property owners are aware of this upcoming change. Building Information Modeling thus becomes a tool for transforming the current state of investment construction, which is still based on "paper" data exchange, and at the same time exhibiting a high degree of fragmentation towards the unified management of investment construction throughout the life cycle from its very beginning. From this perspective, the integration of the entire construction project must be defined. © SGEM2018. ER -
