Current models and methods of the stock volume management are focused mainly on cost-site management and take into account a limited set of criteria. The article outlines the determination of the comprehensive set of factors affecting the stock quantity and which are affected by the stock volume throughout the logistics chain. Following the interaction of determined factors within the logistics chain, criteria which are taken into consideration in the designed algorithm for the stock degree optimization are defined within this research study.
