The paper explores the issue of entrepreneurial potential of university students. The aim of the research is to find out students' views on their own entrepreneurial skills and determinate the independences or dependences between the answers of the students on the questionnaire survey.The survey was conducted by questionnaire at two universities with 174 respondents. The questions were evaluated using Pearson's chi-squared test.The following facts was found. The respondents tend to perceive their entrepreneurial skills from positively to neutral. We can assume that there is dependence between the abilities to make decisions easily and rationally and the skill to quickly gather strength after failure and looking for more efficient solutions. There is dependence between the ability to make decisions easily and rationally in any situation and the attitude of students who enjoy looking for new solutions and surprising connections. There is dependence between quickly gathering strength after failure and looking for more efficient solutions and the joy of looking for new solutions and surprising connections.On the basis of the obtained data we would recommend to create a new educational programs to support entrepreneurial competencies.
