Abstract
The aim of the article is to determine preferences of motivational factors of the blue-collar workers in the Czech Republic and the Sverdlovsk region in the Russian Federation. The paper presents partial outputs of the research into employee motivation preferences and their satisfaction with these factors. The data was obtained through a questionnaire distributed in 2017. The sample of respondents included 395 Czech and 308 Russian blue-collar workers. The data obtained were processed using basic descriptive statistics. Using the T-test, the levels of significance p were calculated for groups of motivation factors. The results of this research define motivation factors preferences of blue-collar workers in different areas, which is useful for organizations to make motivation programs more effective. The article also presents differences in the average level of groups of motivation factors between the observed areas.

Cílem článku je stanovit preference motivačních faktorů dělnických pracovníků v České republice a Sverdlovsku v Ruské federaci. Článek představuje dílčí výstupy výzkumu o preferencích motivace zaměstnanců a jejich spokojenosti s těmito faktory. Údaje byly získány prostřednictvím dotazníku distribuovaného v roce 2017. Vzorek respondentů zahrnoval 395 českých a 308 ruských dělníků. Získané údaje byly zpracovány pomocí základních popisných statistik. Při použití T-testu byly pro skupiny motivačních faktorů vypočteny úrovně významnosti p. Výsledky tohoto výzkumu definují motivační faktory preference pracovníků v různých oblastech, které jsou užitečné pro organizace k tomu, aby motivační programy byly efektivnější. Článek také uvádí rozdíly v průměrné úrovni skupin motivačních faktorů mezi pozorovanými oblastmi.
