The main selected task is focused on simple example of mathematical modeling in solving simple transport tasks. In this work, we will pay attention to the issue of traffic flow modeling from a macroscopic perspective. First, we derive a mathematical model in the form of partial differential equations and then we will focus on solving this equation using the method of characteristics.
