The paper is focused on the proposal of optimizing the distribution center layout and subsequent transportation flows of consignments in the logistics enterprise. In the practical part of this paper, the methodology of the whole distribution center optimization in regard to its appropriate premises configuration for particular distribution activities is designed. The individual optimizing phases arise from the data obtained through the specific diagram regarding the analysis of the existing transportation flows of consignments, relevant logistics factors and calculations.

Článek je zaměřen na návrh optimalizace pro uspořádání prvků distribučního centra a následných přepravních toků zásilek v logistickém podniku. V praktické části článku je navržena metodika optimalizace celého distribučního centra s ohledem na jeho vhodnou konfiguraci prostorů pro jednotlivé distribuční činnosti. Jednotlivé optimalizační fáze vycházejí z údajů získaných prostřednictvím specifického diagramu týkající se analýzy stávajících přepravních toků zásilek, příslušných logistických faktorů a výpočtů.
