The aim of this article is to utilize artificial neural networks for creation of a model for determination of solvency of customers of a manufacturing company. An analysis of customer solvency is a necessary condition for healthy business relation. On the base of obtained data on a group of 110 manufacturing companies 1000 artificial neural networks is generated. For the model, linear neural networks, probabilistic neural networks, radial basis function neural networks, three-layer perceptron networks and four-layer perceptron networks are utilised. Ten of these networks, which showed the best results, are retained for futher processing. The obtained best one neural network MLP 91:91-99-59-1:1 predicts solvency or possible risk of a company (potential customer of a manufacturing company) with the probability higher than 90 %.
