Článek se zabývá významy, kterých nabývá „holub“ v díle Patricka Süskinda „Die Taube“ a jejich působením na život hlavního hrdiny, Jonathana Noela. V souvislosti se zmíněnou tematikou se blíže zaměříme na jeho vztah k ostatním lidem a k sobě samotnému. V návaznosti na situaci, v níž se tato postava po setkání s „holubem“ ocitá, se pokusíme postihnout změny, ke kterým dochází v rámci vnitřního světa této postavy a jejího vnímání světa vnějšího.

In English

This article deals with the meaning of “pigeon” in Patrick Susskind’s piece of work “Die Taube” and the influence it had on the life of the main character, Jonathan Noel. In connection with the above mentioned topic we will focus on his relationships to himself as well as to the others. Following up the situation after he meets “pigeon” we will try to determine the changes in the main character´s inner world and his perception of the outer world.
