The paper attempts to give an overview of a particular textbook, English for Logistics, to be used as an appropriate teaching material for a university course of an identical title, looking closely into its content, assessing its eligibility for the course and discussing the textbook´s main features in terms of using it in lessons and seminars by students of English for Logistics.

Tento příspěvek se pokouší podat přehled konkrétní učebnice, a to Angličtina pro logistiku, za účelem jejího užití jako vhodného učebního materiálu pro předmět stejného názvu vyučovaném na vysoké škole. Je zkoumán její obsah, hodnocena její způsobilost k tomuto předmětu and jsou rozebírány hlavní znaky ve smyslu jejího využívání studenty v hodinách daného předmětu.
