Abstract

V originále

Easily decomposable soil organic matter is a reactive agent that co-decides on the rate of its transformation and because its content is proportional to the quantity of microbial biomass in soil, it is an important element of potential soil fertility. Investigations were carried out in lighter acid Cambisols with poor nutrient reserve in the Šumava area under permanent grasslands at two altitudes of 660 m and 1 150 m a.s.l. in these treatments of grassland use: grazing (1-3x), mowing (1-3x), mulching, combination of mulching and mowing (1x), mulching and grazing (1x) and fallow treatment was also included. Other treatments were 2x and 3x mowing or grazing, with the application of 100 kg N + PK (N – nitrogen, P – phosphorus, K – potassium).
