Příspěvek popisuje výsledky výzkumu, ve kterém byly na Vysoké škole technické a ekonomické v Českých Budějovicích pomocí dotazníku zjišťovány vztahy studentů kombinované formy studia k přírodním vědám – matematice a fyzice. Průzkum byl zaměřen zejména na zjištění těchto faktů: zda se jim zdají tyto vědy zajímavé, zda používají fyzikální a matematické poznatky ve svém oboru a běžném životě.

The paper describes the results of a research of a questionnaire results evaluating students´ opinions on the relationship of combined students to the natural sciences – mathematics and physics at the Institute of Technology and Businesses in České Budějovice. The research focused mainly on finding these facts: relationship of the students to the sciences, their interesting to mathematics and physics, using the mathematical and the physical knowledge in their specialization and life.
