Příspěvek popisuje výsledky výzkumu, ve kterém byly na Vysoké škole technické a ekonomické v Českých Budějovicích pomocí dotazníku zjišťovány vztahy studentů oboru strojírenství k fyzice. Průzkum byl zaměřen zejména na zjištění těchto faktů: zda se jim zdá fyzika zajímavá, zda používají fyzikální poznatky ve svém oboru a běžném životě.

The paper describes the results of a research of a questionnaire results evaluating students´ opinions on the relationship of engineering students to the physics at the Institute of Technology and Businesses in České Budějovice. The research focused mainly on finding these facts: relationship of engineering students to the physics, their interesting to physics, using physical knowledge in their spcialization and life.
