Abstract

V originále

Private tutoring seems significantly popular in the Far East. China, South Korea and to a certain degree Japan share the legacy of Confucian concept of education. Private tutoring is deeply rooted in these societies and it has significant effects on their educational systems, the social and family life of their citizens and their economies. The authorities of these countries face a challenge of taking an appropriate action to reduce the negative effects of private tutoring.
