The Spanish health care system has considerably high ranking among the other states of the world. The aim of this report is to make a general overview of the way the Spanish health care system works. The concept of the system will be described along with its fundamental characteristics. Some specific issues of this system will be introduced, such as its organization, structure, financing and the management of the health care services. Further, the report will be dealing with everyday health care issues, such as hospitals, doctors, dentists or pharmacies.

Španělský systém zdravotní péče zaujímá významné postavení mezi ostatními státy světa. Cílem této práce je nastínit obecný přehled o tom, jak španělský systém zdravotní péče funguje. Práce popisuje koncept systému i jeho základní vlastnosti. Zmíníme některá specifická témata tohoto systému týkající se jeho organizace, struktury, financování a řízení zdravotnických služeb. Dále se budeme zabývat otázkami každodenní zdravotní péče, jako jsou nemocnice, lékaři, zubaři či lékárny.
