Navzdory tomu, že se zateplovací systémy určené pro zateplení z vnitřní (interiérové) strany běžně používají již řadu let, je u nás tato možnost tepelné ochrany budov stále považována za novinku. Možná k tomu přispívá i špatné povědomí a jakási vžitá nedůvěra k tomuto řešení. Již dávno neplatí, že tento způsob zateplování je výsadou Francie, protože, jak tvrdí skeptici, jsou tam pro něj vhodné klimatické podmínky.
