Education is a procedural aspect of a pedagogical process. The science whose subject is education is called pedagogy. Pedagogy in co-operation with other sciantific disciplines tries to explain educational phenomena, educational behaviour of teachers and parents in pedagogical and social reality. Considering the combination with other criteria, such as age, content, needs practice, etc., we can classify pedagogy into basic, border and applied disciplines. Universal pedagogy connects to the basic pedagogical disciplines. Presently, PCs get to the foreground in all spheres of industry, business, services, and education. In secondary schools we meet more often with new computer scholrooms where teachers have tho possibility to use computer data projectors and interactive tables. Didactics resources and presentation programs provide information for students. Positive changes, which have broght new sources of information, new informative environment, information and communication technology (ICT) do not mean that real information is effectively used. In connection with the development of information society there arise the need and request for informative literacy of a contemporary human being and for the construction of his or her basic informative competences: informative education, skills, abilities, habits and standpoints. It is necessary to ensure that education for information should become an integral part of professional qualifications of teachers at all levels. We carried out research in secondary schools in the Slovak Republic (in the Trnava region) and in secondary schools in the Czech Republic (in the Middle Bohemia and the South Bohemia regions). 350 informants participated in the research and the results showed us that the didactic technology is used by pedagogues in lessons.
