This contribution is focused on the importance of intercultural sensitivity, foreknowledge and the awareness that a foreign language study does not mean only its perfect grammar acquisition but also the understanding the cultural elements of the second-language speakers and in this way subsequently understanding the attitudes, values and behaviour of the language / culture being studied.

Tento příspěvek se soustředí na důležitost interkulturní vnímavosti, informovanosti i uvědomění, že studium cizího jazyka neznamená jen jeho gramatické zvládnutí, ale především pochopení kulturní náležitosti mluvčích studovaného jazyka a tím i následné pochopení jejich postojů, hodnot i chování.
