Podniková ekonomika je jak vědou teoretickou, tak i praktickou, a oba tyto póly se v knize velice vhodně vyvažují. Podnik je zde prezentován ve všech svých rozmanitých formách, jsou zde popsány a klasifikovány všechny jevy v podniku se vyskytující a procesy v něm probíhající. Zvlášť oceňuji citlivé, ale vysoce erudované propojení teoretických poznatků a východisek s reálně probíhajícími aktivitami v podnikové sféře. V řadě kapitol jsou naznačena východiska a doporučení pro praktické využití s cílem zvýšení účinnosti a hospodárnosti veškerých podnikových aktivit.

Business Economics is a theoretical science as well as practical, and both poles in the book are very appropriately balanced. Company is presented here in all their various forms, there are described and classified all the phenomena occurring in the enterprise and processes occurring in it. Especially the sensitive, but highly sophisticated linking of theoretical knowledge bases with real ongoing activities in the business sector are much appreciated. In many chapters there are solutions and recommendations for practical use in order to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of all business activities outlined.
