- The aim of the course is to get acquainted in the form of case studies with methods used for analysis, evaluation and design of changes in human resource management in a particular organization. On this basis, the course provides knowledge and skills necessary for the design and implementation of personnel management measures in business and public organizations, whose purpose is to support the success of the monitored organizations in achieving their goals and fulfilling their functions. In solving these case studies of projects, students gain experience in solving real situations requiring the right conceptual and practical personnel management. decision. They also have the opportunity to know the interrelationships between human resources management concepts, methods or tools on the one hand and the strategies or goals of organizations on the other, to analyze the reasons leading to the application of different human resources management methods and to reveal ineffective and ineffective methods. The proposed solutions serve as a model for solving similar situations in their managerial practice.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful completion of the course student: - understands the tasks of human resources management in the context of the overall management of the organization, can assess the extent to which personnel management in the organization fulfills its basic tasks - manages managerial competencies for human resources management, understands the performance of individual personnel management functions in the context of the management / managerial style of the organization and its goals - performs SWOT analysis of personnel management focusing on identifying the main strengths and weaknesses of human resources management in the organization, can identify and identify critical areas of personnel management in the organization, can analyze and compare the main aspects (methods and procedures) of human resources management in the organization in terms of their efficiency and costs with other comparable organizations (personnel benchmarking) - is able to implement methods and procedures for determining the level of human resources management based on written and oral interviews of employees, can perform evaluation of personnel management based on quantitative indicators characterizing its measurable results, especially personnel costs of the organization and its components and indicators of results or effectiveness of personnel management in its main areas, can use appropriately defined personnel indicators enabling comparison with other companies and quick orientation about the direction of company development - can evaluate human resources management on the basis of "best practice", can justify the need for organizational changes and changes in the field of human resources management and communicate these changes, can propose a procedure for the implementation of organizational changes and changes in human resources management in the organization

- Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points under the following conditions: Mid-term grading: maximum 30% (0-30 points). Final grading: maximum 70% (0-70 points). Classification: A 100 – 90, B 89,99 – 84, C 83,99 – 77, D 76,99 – 73, E 72,99 – 70, FX 69,99 – 30, F 29,99 – 0.

- The course is taught annually.
- Teacher's information
- The students of the full-time form of study are obliged to fulfill the 70% attendance at the seminars. If the attendance is not met, the students will be automatically classified with the grade "-". Students with an individual study plan will take only a 100-point final test in the exam period. However, students are obliged to contact the teacher immediately after the approval of the individual study plan (ISP), if the student does not do so, his ISP will not be taken into account. (In case of any questions, the student can contact the teacher via email: klementova@mail.vstecb.cz).
