- The aim of the course is to acquaint students with knowledge of decision theory, probabilistic models and methods applied in these processes. The graduate of the course is able to name and describe selected exact methods and use them for making decisions under various conditions including application to practical problems.

- Syllabus
- 1. Basic concepts of decision theory, decision-making processes and management. 2. Probability distribution 3. Probabilistic trees 4. Decision trees, decision tables. 5. Decision-making under risk, decision-making models - methods and applications in logistics. 6. Decision making under uncertainty, models of decision making - methods and applications in logistics. 7. Method of linear programming in decision making. 8. Multi-criteria optimization - introduction, methods of weight determination. 9. Multicriteria evaluation of variants - simple methods, use. 10. Multi-criteria evaluation of variants - more complex methods. 11. Vector optimization - simple methods, applications. 12. Vector optimization - more complex methods. 13. Approximate decision-making methods.

- Attendance in lessons is defined in a separate internal standard of ITB (Evidence of attendance of students at ITB). It is compulsory, except of the lectures, for full-time students to attend 70 % lesson of the subjet in a semester.
