- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The aim of this subject is repeat the basic knowledge from grammar school mechanics, thermodynamics, acoustics and optics;
- define and characterize the basic physical principles and laws;
- solve simple problems and discuss their results - Learning outcomes
- The student is able to explain the basic physical principles of mechanics, thermics, thermodynamics, optics and fluid mechanics. The graduate is able to judge the physical nature of the phenomenon by common sense

- Attendance in lessons is defined in a separate internal standard of ITB (Evidence of attendance of students at ITB). It is compulsory, except of the lectures, for full-time students to attend 70 % lesson of the subjet in a semester. If the points are on the edge , the student has the possibility to ask for an oral examination by agreement with the teacher.
