- Prerequisites
- OBOR(CAP)
Prerequisites and co-requisites Knowledge in the scope of building mechanics I, Mathematics I and CAD I. - Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
- The student will be theoretically acquainted with the solution of statically indeterminate structures by force, deformation and FEM. Practically he tries classical calculus solutions and calculations using a computer program. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be familiar with methods of statically indeterminate structures by force and deformation method, including effects from temperature and drop of support. The graduate is able to explain the calculation process of the MLP. Practically, in a computer program, they can specify the support, lattice, frame, wall and plate structure, their support and load. He is able to calculate the structure and analyze the obtained results.
- Learning outcomes
- Students can solve statically indeterminate structures by force, deformation method and FEM. Students can use classical calculus solutions and calculations using a computer program. The student is able to solve statically indeterminate structures by force and deformation method, including effects from temperature and decrease of support. The graduate is able to explain the process of calculating FEM. Practically, in a computer program, it is possible to enter the support, lattice, frame, wall and plate structure, their support and load. The student can calculate the structure and analyze the results obtained.
- Syllabus
- The following topics are discussed in the lectures: 1) assumptions and limitations of calculation of statically indeterminate constructions 2) virtual work and deformation of beams 3-4) Power method of calculation of statically indeterminate structure 5) continuous beam 6) three-point equation 7) Crossing method 8-9) Method of calculation of statically indeterminate structure 10 influence of subsoil and temperature changes on statically indeterminate structure 11) finite element method 12 beam on flexible substrate 13 symmetrical design solution
