Course objectives supported by learning outcomes

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with progressive technical means of automation and robotics and SW products for efficient implementation of processes in logistics links of value chains.

Learning outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
Understands and masters in detail the principles of automation and robotics production processes
Can apply the objectives, principles, specifics and trends appropriately design of production processes
Can apply innovations in automation and robotics in design of production processes
Manage and professionally define the basic concepts and functions of design production processes
Manage to monitor and manage the progress of project implementation
Manage the preparation and implementation of automation and robotization of production operations
Manage the planning process for designing production processes
Can coordinate plans for automation and design production processes
Can evaluate the economic efficiency of design automated production processes
Can apply appropriate methods in designing automation of production processes

Seminar paper – 20 points (i. e. 20 %)

Presentation of seminar paper – 10 points (i. e. 10 %)

Final exam

Final exam – 70 points (i. e. 70 %)

For successful completion of the course, a minimum of 70 points (70 %) must be achieved (from course exam and final exam together) under the conditions specified below. In the course exam, it is possible to achieve up to 30 points (30 %) %). In the final exam, it is possible to obtain up to 70 points (70 %). Grading for the course, i. e. points for the final exam (70 - 0) + points for the course exam (30 - 0): A 100 – 90, B 89.99 – 84, C 83.99 – 77, D 76.99 – 73, E 72.99 – 70, FX 69.99 – 30, F 29.99 – 0.

Students in full-time form of study are obliged to attend at least 70 % of the lessons (except for the lectures). If this condition (i. e. 70% attendance in courses) is not met, the student will automatically get the “F“ grade.
