Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the subject is to explain the nature and importance of the existance of personnel management in organisations, to define possibilities of acquisition, stabilisation, motivation, development and optimal involvemnet of personnel in the working process. After passing the subject successfully the student: - can characterize basic fields of personnel work in an organization - can explain main activities of personnel departments - can compile a career plan for an employee - can compile motivation and stimulation plan - can describe on model examples demonstrate basic operations of a personnel officer ( election of employees, job interview, meeting management, conflict solving, discussion about transgession
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course the student understands the role and responsibilities of personnel management in the organization, understands the work-legal framework of personnel management and can apply the labor legislation, understand the role and tasks of personnel costs management and personnel controlling, understand the principles of creation of job descriptions and personnel plan , understands the methods and tools of recruitment and adaptation of employees, understands the objectives and principles of creating a system of management and evaluation of employee performance, understands the tools of motivation and remuneration of employees, understands the principles of creation of fixed and performance components of wages including employee benefits, understand the objectives and methods of training and further education employees, understands the importance and tools of communication in the organization, understands the essence, meaning and tools of organizational culture creation.

Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points under following conditions: Mid-term grading: maximum 30% (0-30 points). Final grading: maximum 70% (0-70 points). Classification: A 100 – 90, B 89,99 – 84, C 83,99 – 77, D 76,99 – 73, E 72,99 – 70, FX 69,99 – 30, F 29,99 – 0.

The students of the full-time form of study are obliged to fulfill the 70% attendance at the seminars. If the attendance is not met, the students will be automatically classified "F".

Lectures will take place in the form of pre-recorded videos stored in the IS in the folder "Work with study materials" available at any time during the semester, where they will also be available to students of the combined form of study. The seminars will take place through MS Teams in real time according to a set timetable. Attendance at seminars will be monitored.

Attendance in lessons is defined in a separate internal standard of ITB (Evidence of attendance of students at ITB). It is compulsory, except of the lectures, for full-time students to attend 70 % lesson of the subjet in a semester.
