The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The course objective is to deepen student´s language knowledge to the level B2- of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. After the successful completion of the course, students are able to: understand extended speech and follow even complex arguments, understand articles dealing with contemporary problems, present a detailed descriptions on a wide range of subjects and interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity, write clear, detailed texts on a wide range of subjects.
Learning outcomes
He/She can understand extended speech provided the topic is reasonably familiar. He/She can understand in detail texts within his/her field of interest and the area of professional specialization. He/She can present clear detailed descriptions on a wide range of subjects related to his/her field of interests and study. He/She can write a clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects related to his/her interests.

Semester test 30 points (30 % = 25 points for speaking exam, 5 points for written exam during the semester) - full-time students 30 %
on-line on IS VSTE through "ROPOT" - daily study programme 70 %
on-line on IS VSTE through "ROPOT" - combined study programme 100 %
Exam conditions
Full-time form of study:

Grading of the course both for full-time students: an exam during the semester, written test in the examination period. Successful graduates of the course have to get at least 70 points (from both parts together).

Continuous evaluation:

Semester test 30 % (25 % speaking exam, 5 % written test)

Final test:

Final test using ROPOT in the IS (70 %)

Combined form of study:

Grading of the course both for part-time students: written test in the examination period. Successful graduates of the course have to get at least 70 points.

Final test:

Final test using ROPOT in the IS (100 %)

Teacher's information
Lessons will be a combination of prerecorded videos and powerpoint presentations accessible in the IS during the semester (45 min) and online teaching (practising, reviewing, consultations - 45 min) via MS Teams, with both video and audio recording.
