At VŠTE, students are strongly encouraged to take part in the international programmes which will be very useful for the development of their career.
One of the international programmes that is offered to students studying at VŠTE is ERASMUS Student Mobility which is supported by European Commission. In 2007, VŠTE received ERASMUS Extended University Charter.
In the framework of the bilateral agreements signed with different universities around Europe, VŠTE students are provided with the opportunity to participate in ERASMUS exchange program both for student mobility and placement and their exchange period is academically recognized. Moreover, our lecturers also encouraged to benefit from the ERASMUS Teaching Staff Mobility to gain experience related to their specialization area.
The academic cooperation in terms of Erasmus programme is based on about 50 bilateral contracts for student, teacher and staff exchange signed with universities in 20 countries like: Austria, Belgium, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Turkey, Hungary, Finland, France, and the Netherlands.
Apart from the ERASMUS programm, VŠTE has bilateral agreements with Russian universities. In the framework of these agreements the students may spend one or two semesters of their study in the cooperating universities which is again academically recognized by VŠTE.
