The International Office of Burgas Free University is pleased to invite you to be our partner university
in the Blended Intensive Programme ‘Become an ESG Еxpert‘, organised and hosted by the Faculty of
Business Studies of Burgaski Svoboden Universitet (Burgas Free University), Burgas, Bulgaria in the
period 17-21 June 2024.
The Blended Intensive Programme is intended for students ( from the 1st
, 2nd
and 3rd
cycle) from the
following fields of education (ISCED) – 0410 Business and Administration and 0311 Economics.
Number of students per partner HEI – 3-5 ( in case there are more interested students, please let us
know and we will check the availability).
The topic of this ERASMUS+ Blended intensive programme is ‘How Can Environmental, Social and
Governance Standards Benefit Your Business?’. The proposed BIP focuses on the following main
aspects:
 Understanding the core concepts of ESG.
 Developing knowledge of ESG framework and standards.
 Understanding the ESG metrics.
 Gaining practical skills for ESG implementation.
ECTS awarded: 3 credits
The face-to-face part of the BIP will take place at Burgas Free University in the period 17 - 21.06.2024.
The daily workload is 8 hours, combining the theoretical part with workshops and cultural activities.
We are planning a variety of activities:
- A Warm-Up Workshop and a tour of Burgas Free University;
- Workshops
- A variety of social events, including lunch and trips – e.g. a cultural trip to the ancient town of
Nessebar, listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites;
The online part will take place in 3 online sessions before the physical mobility as follows:
1st online meeting – 20.05.2024 ( 17- 19 h)
2nd online meeting – 27.05.2024 – (17- 19 h )
3rd online meeting – 13.06.2024 – (17- 19 h )
The language of training is English. There is no registration fee. Participants are responsible for covering
their own accommodation, living and travel costs. They are expected to get the Erasmus+ Mobility
grant from their home Institution under the KA131 projects that you are running.
