to participate in International Business Week
”Run a Business—A Simulation Game Challenge” 2 ECTS
STUDY THEMES AND METHODS
During the business week, you will work in multinational teams. Each team
will run their own virtual business through a business simulation game that
reflects real world business challenges and results. The teams compete
against each other just like in real business environment. The aim is to practice
your business, decision-making and problem solving skills, whilst also
getting invaluable experience in working in an international team. Special
emphasis is put on learning to follow and utilize financial metrics and key
performance indicators in business planning and decision-making. Your learning
is supported by brief lectures and guidance from academic and business
representatives.
FINNISH WINTER EXPERIENCE
The social programme offers the opportunity to experience Finnish winter
and culture with activities, such as sauna and ice swimming.
FEE
The fee 235 €/participant includes accommodation with breakfast (from
Monday to Friday), 1 dinner and study programme. Note: lunch at student’s
own cost (4 * 2,60 = 10,40 EUR). Travel to and from Lahti will be arranged
and covered by participants.
