Marek Vochozka, MBA, Ph.D., v.r. 1 Article 1 General provisions (1) The Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice (hereinafter "VŠTE") announces admissions in the academic year 2015/2016 for these degree program- mes: a) Transport Technology and Communications, study field: Logistics Technology Form of study: full-time Length of study: 2 years Type of study: Follow-up Master‘s Language of study: English Fee: 40.000 CZK/semester Article 2 Prerequisites for admission to the degree programmes (1) Provide a certified copy of the diploma of at least from a bachelor's degree program including a certificate of recognition of a foreign university degree in the Czech Republic (validation) in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Act no. 561/2004 Coll. and that in the period from January 15, 2015 to 30. 4. 2015. (2) The submission of a duly completed electronic applications in the period from 2015 to 15. 1. 30. 4. 2015. (3) Payment of deposit of € 250 to account no. 2111158563/2700 at the UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s. no later than 30. 4. 2015. Payment details: IBAN: CZ68 2700 0000 0021 1115 8563 SWIFT: BACXCZPPXXX The candidate must state the variable symbol: three sixes and a number of application of the applicant (e.g. 66672642). Article 3 Admission fee (1) The application fee is 560, - CZK. (2) The application fee will be paid from the deposit paid according to Article 2, paragraph 3. Article 4 Fee for foreign language study (1) Fee for foreign language study will be paid partly from the deposit in accordance with Article 2, paragraph 3, which will be billed on the opening day of the study; the student will pay rest of the amount according to the current exchange rate EUR to CZK. a) The first deposit in the amount of € 250 is payable by April 30, 2015. 2 b) Surcharge fee for study in a foreign language is payable on the opening day of the study. This fee is paid in cash at the VŠTE checkout. (2) In the case of non-acceptance of a candidate to the study programme, the deposit will be returned applicants (from which the admission fee will be deducted) by bank transfer. Article 5 Assessment of entries (1) If the applicant meets conditions laid down in Article 2 of this measure of the Rector by the deadline of 30. 4. 2015, the applicant will be sent a decision on the admission, including documents required for visa application. (2) The lists of admitted applicants (according to their e-application numbers) will be posted on the official VŠTE notice board no later than May 15, 2015. The lists will also be published on www.vstecb.cz. Article 6 Withdrawal (1) In case the candidate cannot commence his/her study, it is necessary to report this fact no longer than August 31, 2015 by e-mail to Study Department VŠTE and the applicants returned the deposit (from which the admission fee will be deducted) by bank transfer. (2) In case the candidate cannot commence his/her study and does not report this fact by August 31, 2015, the deposit payed accordint to Article 2, paragraph 3, will be considered non-refundable and credited to VŠTE. Article 7 Nostrification bachelor's degree (1) (1) In case the applicant graduated from a foreign university from an accredited study programme with similar content to bachelor's degree taught at the VŠTE, it is possible to apply for recognition procedure of such a bachelor's degree programme at VŠTE. (2) (2) An application for validation is required to be submited by April 30, 2015 and must supply the following: a) a complete application for validation, b) a certified copy of the diploma or other proof of graduation, c) a certified copy of the diploma supplement (the so-called "Diploma Supplement") or an original or a certified copy of the certificate of examinations, If the documents accompanying the application are not in Czech or English, the applicant must attach their certified translation into Czech, according to Act no. 36/1967 Coll., On experts and interpreters. (3) The fee for processing an application for validation is 1000, - CZK. 3 (4) The fee for submitting an application for validation will be deducted from the paid deposit 250 euros (paid for the admission procedure according ton Article 2 paragraph 3) (5) If the Rector VŠTE finds that the degree programs compared have substantial differences, the application for recognition shall be rejected with no refund of the fee for validation.
