Article 1
Basic Provisions
(1) This amendment amends Directive No. 8/2015 on the Statutes of the Institute of Expertise
and Valuation dated 30 June 2015 (Ref. No. VŠTE004903/2015).
(2) The individual articles are amended and supplemented as follows:
Article 2
Basic information on institutes
(3) The Institute is defined by the following details:
b) Abbreviated name: Institute of Expertise and Valuation.
Article 11
The Institute’s Assets and Financial Management
(1) The Institute’s financial management rules are governed by Annex No. 3 to the
VŠTE Statutes.
(2) The Institute uses the assets of VŠTE entrusted to its management.
(3) The Institute’s budget must be balanced, and its preparation is governed by a separate
internal VŠTE regulation, “Rules for the Preparation of Sub-Budgets”.
Article 12
Academic staff and their status
(1) The status of academic staff is defined by the provisions of Sections 70–77 of the
Act and Article 22 of the VŠTE Statutes.
Article 14
Subject and content of the evaluation
(1) The subject of the Institute’s evaluation is activities in the field of education, creative
work and related activities of VŠTE. The supreme body of VŠTE, which manages and
supervises the operational system of internal quality evaluation of the aforementioned
activities in accordance with the requirements of Section 77b of the Higher Education
Act, is the RVH.
(3) Article 15 is repealed.

Article 8
Academic Council of the Institute
(4) The term of office of members of the Academic Council is four years. Membership
of the Academic Council is honorary. Members of the Academic Council who are not
employees of VŠTE are entitled to reimbursement of expenses incurred in connection
with their participation in meetings of the Academic Council in accordance with the
relevant regulations.

ADDENDUM No. . 3 TO GUIDELINE No. 8/2015 STATUTES OF THE INSTITUTE OF
EXPERTISE AND VALUATION
Article 1
Basic Provisions
(1) This addendum amends Directive No. 8/2015 Statutes of the Institute
of Expertise and Valuation dated 30 June 2015 (Ref. No. VŠTE004903/2015).
(2) Article 5 now reads as follows:
“Article 5
Internal Regulations of the Institute
“(1) The Institute shall be governed by the internal regulations of VŠTE, and the Director
of the Institute shall issue, in accordance
the VŠTE Statutes and other internal regulations of VŠTE, measures governing, in particular,
the methodological and organisational matters of the Institute.”
(3) The existing Articles 7–14 are renumbered as Articles 6–
13.
(4) Article 6(4) reads as follows:
“(4) In matters of financial management and internal administration of the university
institute, the Director of the Institute is represented by the Secretary of the Institute.”
Article 2
Final provisions
(1) This amendment shall enter into force on 1 October
2021.

LUATION
Article 1
Basic Provisions
(1) This addendum amends Directive No. 8/2015 Statutes of the Institute
of Expertise and Valuation dated 30 June 2015 (Ref. No. VŠTE004903/2015).
(2) Article 7(5) now reads as follows:
“(5) The Academic Council shall be convened by its Chair as required, but at least
once a year.”
(3) A new Part Seven, Article 14, is inserted after Article 13, reading as
follows:
“PART SEVEN
FINAL PROVISIONS
Article 14
Final Provisions
(1) This consolidated version of the Directive shall enter into force on 23
August 2022.”
