Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The student gets a comprehensive view on the architectural design of the building based on acquired knowledge. Students will acquire basic skills of the architectural design of buildings, respecting the corresponding typological principles and the basic principles of design of building structures. Students will understand the methods of design of buildings. Students will acquire skills to solve structural and technical problems within the range of solutions for the construction permit.
Learning outcomes
The student is able to:
- to design an architectural solution of the building type;
- propose structural and technical solutions;
- prepare the project documentation according to the valid regulations.

Exam conditions
The submitted semester project is a prerequisite for the successful completion of the subject. The maximum number of points per semester project is 80. Individual drawings and project studies will be consulted and approved by the studio manager (teacher). The semester project will be developed at the required graphical level. The complexity of a project (building permits project) can be evaluated by a maximum of 15 points, the graphics level of the drawings and the level of the text part up to 10 points and the quality of the project content up to 55 points. For further requirements, see instruction in the tutorial (the student receives the first week of instruction). In the mid-term evaluation, the student can get up to 10 points for the presentation and inventive approach, plus up to 10 points for the active consultation of the project. The total sum of points is 100.

    Attendance in lessons is defined in a separate internal standard of ITB (Evidence of attendance of students at ITB). It is compulsory, except of the lectures, for full-time students to attend 70 % lesson.
