- Cílem předmětu je vysvětlit studentům způsob vzniku statistických informací, praktické studie v ekonomické oblasti (zejména informační zdroje) a jejich vzájemnou závislost. Dále se student naučí interpretovat získaná data, porovnávat je v čase a prostoru a zkoumat možnosti interpretace datových kombinací.

- Po úspěšném absolvování předmětu student:
vyhledá z veřejných i neveřejných zdrojů požadované statistické informace,
rozumí statistickým ukazatelům,
posuzuje vypovídací hodnotu statistických informací a ukazatelů,
interpretuje statistické ukazatele ve vztahu k ekonomickým jevům,
vybere vhodné statistické ukazatele pro ekonomické analýzy,
aplikuje přiměřené statistické metody při vlastní analytické činnosti. - Syllabus

- 8. Consumption dependence on income
- 9. Price surveys, price index, measurement of inflation
- 10. Measurement of GDP development over time, national accounting system
- 11. Construction of economic aggregates, volume and price index, international comparison

- Exam conditions
- For successful completion of the course, a minimum of 70 points (70 %) must be achieved (seminar work) under the conditions specified below.
In the final seminar work, it is possible to obtain up to 100 points (100 %). Grading for the course: A 100 – 90, B 89.99 – 84, C 83.99 – 77, D 76.99 – 73, E 72.99 – 70, FX 69.99 – 30, F 29.99 – 0.
Students in full-time form of study are obliged to attend at least 70 % of the lessons (except for the lectures). If this condition (i. e. 70% attendance in courses) is not met, the student will automatically get the “F“ grade.
