Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to learn the basic principles of technical drawing as a language of expression of graduates. Can draw basic geometric structures, understand the importance of normalization. The student is able to project simple and composite solids on three vertical projections. Can dimension structural elements and components while understanding functional and technological dimensions. It determines the tolerances of dimensions of shapes and position, prescribes the surface quality of components and heat treatment and other requirements. The student can draw simple parts and assemblies and can fill in the description field. He can draw production drawings of castings, forgings, bent parts. The student is also able to draw topics of pipeline kinematic and fluid mechanisms.
Learning outcomes
The student can: - Distinguishing advanced materials in mechanical engineering - describe and define advanced technologies in mechanical engineering - work with methods and instruments for analyzing the properties of materials in mechanical engineering - use methods and devices in engineering technology
