Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the subject is to familiarize students with the problems of high pressure die casting technology.
Learning outcomes
Students will acquire orientation in the technics and technology of pressure die casting, machines used in the HPDC, their design and construction of additional equipment. They are also acquainted with preparation of alloy for casting, evaluation of casting quality, casting errors and its prediction. They will acquire the basics of design and projection of pressure casting molds supported by the use of the CA system used in the foundry industry.
