- The aim of the subject is to acquaint students with basic terminology in the field of strategic management. The graduate understands the phases of the strategic management process (vision, mission, strategic goals, strategy formulation, choice of strategy and its implementation include strategic control). Students can analyze the business environment using basic internal and external strategic analysis.
- Learning outcomes
- Upon successful completion of the subject, the student:
1. understands the basic concepts of strategic management (strategy, strategic management, strategic thinking, development phases of strategic management)
2. knows the principles of creating business strategies
3. understands the principles of strategic situation analysis
4. can apply basic methods for evaluating the internal and external business environment (internal and external strategic analysis)
5. knows the principles of chosen management methods (BSC, EFQM, Six sigma, Kaizen) - Syllabus

- In the ongoing evaluation, 30 points can be obtained, ie 30%. A total of 70 points, ie 70%, can be obtained for the seminar work. Overall classification of the subject, ie points for the final evaluation (0 - 70) + points from the ongoing evaluation (0 - 30). A 100 - 90, B 89.99 - 84, C 83.99 - 77, D 76.99 - 73, E 72.99 - 70, FX 69.99 - 30, F 29.99 - 0. Full-time student studies is obliged to meet the mandatory 70% attendance during contact teaching, ie everything except lectures. If the participation is not met, the student will be automatically classified "F".
