Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to acquainte student with the basic design principles and principles of completing construction and to be able to evaluate the interaction with the supporting structure. student will be able to design and carry out the selection of appropriate completing constructions of buildings with regard to life expectancy and heat-moisture stress.

  • 1. Completing construction - features and requirements 2. Insulation systems - features and requirements, design principles and solutions of continuity with the supporting system 3. Insulation systems - material and technological solutions 4.Insulation systems - hygrothermal analysis 5. Filling window openings - functional requirements, design and material solutions 6. Filling window openings - the solution joints and connections, types of glass, building construction 7. Doors and gates - functional requirements, design and material solutions 8. The internal partition walls 9. Ceilings 10. Floors - functional requirements, design and material solutions 11.Floors - special types of flooring, floors in industrial and agricultural buildings 12. Curtain walling of buildings 13. Surface modifications
