Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to get acquainted with the practical possibilities of solving the problem of interpersonal communication, verbal and nonverbal means with an emphasis on the practice of presentation skills. At the same time, the aim of the course is also to get acquainted with the theory of communication and its practical application, conscious regulation of one's own communication behavior and the behavior of other participants in communication and mastering assertive and tactical behavior.
Learning outcomes
- use and understand the basic concepts related to the field of interpersonal communication,
- knows the nature and method of using basic communication skills,
- understands and can explain the interrelationships and use of communication skills,
- applicates the acquired knowledge in practice for the successful performance of his profession,
- is capable of reflection and self-reflection of the use of acquired competencies in practice.

  • 4. Non-verbal communication and its relation to the verbal component of communication.

  • 8. Coaching and its use in human resource management.
  • 9. Conducting interviews, workshops.
  • 10. Managerial communication, and team communication.

Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points under following conditions: Mid-term grading: maximum 30% (0-30 points). Final grading: maximum 70% (0-70 points).

Teacher's information
In order to successfully complete the course, it is necessary to achieve a total of at least 70% of the interim and final evaluation under the conditions set out below. In the continuous evaluation, 30 points can be obtained, ie 30%. In the final evaluation, a total of 70 points can be obtained, ie 70%. Overall classification of the course, ie points for the final evaluation (70 - 0) + points from the continuous evaluation (30 - 0): Z 100 - 70, NX 69 - 30 (with the possibility to repeat the test), N 29 - 0 (not included).

A student of the full-time form of study is obliged to meet the mandatory 70% attendance at contact classes, ie everything except lectures. If the participation is not fulfilled, the student will be automatically classified "-".

Students with an individual study plan will only be assessed through a 100-point final test in the exam period. However, students are required to contact the instructor immediately upon approval of the Individual Study Plan (ISP); if the student fails to do so, the student's ISP will be disregarded. If they have any questions, they can contact the course supervisor via email klementova@mail.vstecb.cz.
