Knowledge that is the subject of POS 3. The student will provide the facility in advance with the object or objects to be processed by the flat and sloping roof reconstruction projects.
Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The aim is to gain knowledge in the elimination pitched and flat roofs defects. The student will be able to define, describe and assess the implementation of the principles of reconstruction and roof structures, s/he will be able to design the reconstruction of a roof corresponding to the investor's requirements and relevant legislation.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: - to define, describe and assess the principles of reconstruction and implementation of roof structures, -those to propose the reconstruction of the roof according to the requirements of the investor and the valid legislation.

  • 1. Thermoinsulation and waterproofing of reconstruction - building physics of roofs 2. History and development of flat roofs. 3. Construction-technical survey of flat roofs. Characteristic manifestations of aging and loss of function of flat roofs of various material and construction bases, defects and disorders, causes 4. Construction and technical survey of flat roofs and plumbing constructions. Characteristic manifestations of aging and loss of function of flat roofs of various material and construction bases, defects and disorders, causes 5. Principles of reconstruction of flat roofs 6. Principles of reconstruction of flat roofs. Flat Roof Reconstruction Project. Implementation, control and acceptance. 6. WRITTEN TEST 1 7. History and development of sloping roofs. 8. Construction and technical survey of sloping roofs. Characteristic manifestations of aging and loss of function of inclined roofs of various material and construction bases, defects and disorders, causes 9. Construction and technical survey of roof trusses and plumbing constructions. Characteristic manifestations of aging and loss of function of inclined roofs of various material and construction bases, defects and disorders, causes 10. Principles of Reconstruction of Slope Roofs 11. Principles of Reconstruction of Raised Roof Roofs. Reconstruction project of sloping roof. Implementation, control and acceptance. 12.
