Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The target of the course is an integration of the input level of students' language skills minimally at A2+ to B1- level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Langugages and a providing students with language knowledge and skills at least to level A2 + to B1- for daily communication to handle common tasks that are of immediate relevance (e.g. basic information about yourself and your family, about shopping, local names, employment).
Learning outcomes
After the successful completion of the course, the students will be able to: actively use and understand sentences and expressions related to the basic fields which closely koncern the students (basic information about themselves, their studies, their families, shopping, local names and job, habits, etc.); implement a simple and direct information exchange on wellknown and common situations – describe the family, studies, his/her neighbourhood and other phenomena concerning his/her needs; write a short essay on a general topic.

To successfully complete the course, it is necessary to achieve a total of 70% of continuous evaluation and final evaluation under the conditions set out below. 30 points, i.e. 30%, can be obtained in the continuous evaluation. A total of 70 points, i.e. 70%, can be obtained in the final evaluation.

The full-time student is obliged to meet the mandatory 70% attendance at contact classes, everything except lectures. If the participation is not met, the student will be automatically classified "-".

Teacher's information
Teaching will take place in the classrooms on the university premises. For full-time students, participation in seminars is mandatory according to the Attendance Directive. Attendance is not monitored for students of the part-time form. Students with an individual study plan will perform a continuous evaluation on a date agreed with the teacher. However, students are obliged to contact the teacher immediately after the approval of the individual study plan (ISP), if the student does not do so, his ISP will not be taken into account.
