Course objectives supported by learning outcomes
The objective is to acquire professionally orientented English with the implementation of grammar rules at the level of B1+ according to CEFR in all productive and receptive skills. Students have a command of professional vocabulary within the topics discussed in lessoncs; they are able to prepare and deliver professional presentation, look up information in autentic professional resources in English.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, students are able to: - understand and use professional vocabulary within the discussed topics
- understand professional texts in English and look up important and necessary information
- actively participate in discussion on a professional topic discussed in the course
- prepare and deliver presentation on a professional topic

Exam conditions
The course is successfully completed upon passing seminar exam and final test (both part-time and full-time form of study). The minimum number of points for successful completion of the course is 70 (from both parts together). Seminar exam must be passed no later than at the end of the teaching period following the rules specified by teachers. The maximum number of points is 30. Final test is taken in the examination period. The maximum number of points is 70.

Final Test 70 % (0 – 70 points) and semester exam 30% (0-30). The final test requires the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Successful graduates of the course have to get totally at least 70 points (from both parts of tests).

Students with ISPs must complete a semester exam and final test. The semester exam will take place on a date agreed with the teacher.
